I have extreme lower back/pelvic pain,and hip pain? |
This first happened about 1 1/2 months ago. My pain was so severe, i couldnt bend, walk, breath. Anything hurt it. the pain radiates into my hips. My doctor did MRI, said just showed degenerative changes. He also sent me to PT for 3 weeks. The pain got better, but never went away. I recently lost my medical insurance and had to quit therapy. Now the pain is back, and i am very frustrated. I have also been seeing a Chiropractor. He says my Left hip is rotated and it will take time to re-train it. Anyone have any suggestions or ideas. Its to the point that i may have to consider a new career field. I do a lot of lifting. I'm really sorry to hear about your predicament. Pain can be very debilitating. The chiropractor should be able to help in time. I have been taking a vitamin and mineral supplement that has helped with my pain management. Check out the links below and make sure and read the testimonials. continue with the Chiro....also do the exercises that they had you doing at PT that initally gave you relief. Ask your Chiro what type of stretching exercises could be of benefit to you. It does take time to retrain the muscle, I had pretty much the same problem and it is actually an ongoing process.....Good Luck I have almost the same thing, except the pain goes down my leg. An mri confirmed a herniated disk. I elected not to have surgery, and after 4 weeks it's getting better. I used a flat, hard, heating pad to help keep my back straight while sleeping. Try to follow up with the chiropractor or at least try and re-train the muscles that pulled your hip out of shape. ALWAYS try and lift with your legs and not your back. I have degenerative disks, and i hope you can correct your problem before it gets real bad, or you will have to find a new career. Try and follow up with a free clinic, you really need to protect your spine, the pain is terrible, I know. Best Wish's |
