Pelvic pain, 6 1/2 months pregnant .. help?

This has been happening for a month now and i've been getting shooting pains down near my pelvis area when i walk. At first, it started out as a pain i could tolerate, but now it just hurts super bad. Somtimes I don't even want to walk to go use the bathroom.. is this something normal, or should i be concernd and go to the doctors? advice?

Could be ligaments, could be stretching, could be awkward fetus position. If it's painful enough that you have a hard time even walking to pee, I think it's issue enough to bring up to a doctor. If you are extremely concerned with it (I think at this point I would be), ask about a sonogram to rule out any medical problems or abnormalities. DO NOT let anyone dismiss your concerns without checking it out thoroughly - if something is wrong, you need to know for the safety of yourself and your child, and your medical care providers sure as hell don't want to be held responsible later. Know what I mean?

I am also 6 1/2 months along and my little one is carrying really low. She is basically kicking me in cervix, which is so painful!!

Luckily, there is time for your little one to shift and move.

Do you have bleeding, foul or watery discharge? If so, call your doctor. And when in doubt, call your doctor.

Good luck!

It sounds like your round ligaments and uterus is expanding. You can take some Tylenol for the pain and try resting more. If it is really unbearable for you, you should mention this to your doctor.

I had a lot of sharp pains with my son. My OBGYN told me that it was normal. Because my ligaments && my uterus was stretching. But, if the pain us unbearable I would call your OBGYN or go to the ER.
