More than likely it's supra-pubic pain, the stretching of the ligaments in your pelvis to prep for passage of baby into he world. It hurts, it sucks and hopefully it will go away, it did with my first two but I've suffer to 32 weeks so far with this one. I recommend getting up slowly and trying alternative ways of standing from lower positions. However if you drive a small car or a sports car, you're probably SOL.

Good luck and congrats!

hi me too I'm 25 weeks this friday and have been getting this pain for the past 2 weeks. i went to see midwife who said ive got spd, which happens to some people. when your pregnant your body releases a hormone which loosens your ligaments some people loosen more than others making it uncomfortable when walking, getting up and for me especially when putting pants on (lifting legs). she said if it gets worse then she will refer me for physio and wear a support belt, at the minute I'm coping ok so ill see how i am at next appointment. prob as i get bigger it will hurt slightly more but theres not much that can be done, my mum also suffered with this. joys of pregnancy hey if you put spd into a search engine you'll find out more. good luck hun x

see your doc - you might have problems with the way your ligaments hold your pelvis in place. I forget waht its called, but if you do you will need to be getting lots of rest until the baby is born.

Otherwise see an osteopath to sort you out - it might just be the usual strain of growing a bump, which he can sort out for you

hi see ur doctor or mw as soon as poss n explain to them cos it could be SPD nothing to worry about just painful :( but they is things to help like rest and support bands and crutches but best seeing your doc 1st :)
good luck and congrats hun xx

I also had pelvic bone and back pain. The doc told me this was because of the baby's weight pushing against my pelvic bone and due to the ligaments that are stretching.

The back pain usually are braxton hicks.
