Right sided pain - groin, pelvic and lower abdomen? |
For years, off and on, I've had an unexplained right sided pelvic pain. A thought. You may have either an inguinal or femoral hernia. A buldge need not be present, the pain is intermittant, it was worsened by physical exertion, a hernia is very possible. I suggest you visit the website of North Penn Hernia Inst. They have a board where you can describe your symptoms and Dr. Goodyear will answer your questions. I had a right inguinal hernia repaired 4 years ago and now have a left one so I do know what the pain is like. One more thing the pain may be referred meaning the pain may not be at the site of the hernia but remote. |
