I have a docs appt on monday so ill ask then but im just wondering what it is for now

Hi ,
I had this during my last pregnancy, pain in the pelvic area can be caused by pressure from the baby's head, contractions that cause dilation or both.

When a doctor feels the cervix to check on dilation, he or she can also feel if the baby's head is engaged or not.
A head that is not engaged will slip backwards when pushed on, while the engaged head will remain stationary. The good news is, you're locked and loaded, ready to go. If you're really lucky you may even go early and not have to endure this pelvic pain much longer.

Its normal uncomfortable i know Good luck with Birth x

This is so normal I am 35 weeks as well and have the same sensation. The baby is just pushing down on your public bone and it is very possible the baby could be dropping (down into the pubic area). No need to worry. I know this can be painful at times.

If it burns when you urinate you could have UTI (urinary track infection) but if it just is pain in your pubic area this is perfectly normal. No worries.

i did that with my second one. around 35 weeks (given the window of error in calculating due dates) the baby is dropping and it gets really uncomfortable for some people. i would take it easy for the next few days and until you see your doctor. self prescribed bed rest until you see dr. to be on the safe side. if pain gets worse, go to the ER to be safe. 35 pretty early to deliver.

UH... it sounds like you're in labor. when you try to walk does it hurt worse or is made worse by walking? I would rush to the emergency room before you start feeling an arm.

the baby is just getting ready,I have felt the same thing

Yep thats normal....

Yeah its normal :-( Joys oh pregnancy eh? but you will miss it.

these are some symptoms of a yeast infection. or possibly you might just be pregnant. that just my guess.

ahhhhh i know it happing right now its normal

I have the same problem except Im only 26 weeks I talked to my ob about it 2 days ago and she said its normal because its the weight of the baby on your hips and pelvis causing the pain because the baby is positioned down low.
