38 weeks pregnant and terrible pelvic pain?

I already told my doctor and he told me that it was the cartiledge getting soft but I am wondering if anyone has a way to ease the pain some. I dont think tylenol is going to work right now.

try to lie on your side and prop your feet yo and put a pillow between your legs to even you pelvis out a little bit. This might help you. I have had this for a while now. I do this every night when i go to sleep or i will be miserable when i wake up. I hope it works for you because i know how it feels.

OMG - I had that too, with four of six pregnancies.
its the pelvic girdle. and it hurts like hell.

walking hurt, sitting hurt, laying down really hurt.

I think my husband hated me whenever I was pregnant because I would have tons of pillows in the bed, between my legs, under my head, at my feet everywhere. but it was the only thing that felt good

tylenol is good. no motrin, that would cause BP issues.

I wish I had a perfect answer - but a light girdle rolled under my belly helpd - it gave support.

Me too, Mine is KILLING me!!! Doc didn't help me much either, just told me it's part of pregnancy - ugh!

I took a warm bath and it helped a lot. I also used a heating pad and that helped. Otherwise, nothing has worked for longer term other than staying off my feet. I hope yours subsides soon!

I would just sit on a big yoga ball. that usually made it feel better. Warm baths, pillows, tylenol, changing positions frequently. Sometimes nothing works. Its one of the wonderful things of pregnancy. Dont worry you're almost done.

try tylenol, walking, a nice warm relaxing bath or shower....you could go see a chiropractor if you want, too, that might help....otherwise know it is almost time baby will be here in a couple weeks and then it will feel better....GL!!

I find that elevating my legs with a pillow and using a warm (not hot) water bottle on the area helps. Also a nice warm bath. Hope this helps
