Pelvic pain?

Okay I'm not sure if anyone else has ever experienced this before I'm going to both my ob/gyn but I'm also going to a high risk doctor because I had to have a cerclage put in to try and keep my cervix closed. Well my question is has anybody who's been pregnant had pain in the inner part of your thighs where your pelvic bone is. I'd say since Tuesday night when I wake up in the morning I've been feeling this but only in the mornings when I wake up once I'm up for a while it stops. I asked the dr. at the high risk office and they said it's normal but I never felt that with my son when I was pregnant with him. I'm 27 weeks along right now.

I'm just about to have my 3rd baby (any day now - today would be great - in a couple of hours would be great LOL!). And I have had it the majority of my pregnancy. I never had it with my 2 previous - just this one. It used to be only when I would wake up or get up from sitting for a while. Now that I am so far along and baby is dropped I have it pretty much ALL THE TIME! Especially the last few days. It's mostly to do with your pelvic floor muscles & perineum being stretched to prepare for birth. I am guessing you might be carrying the baby low - which is a contributor to the pain as well. I have found the best relief for it is my birthing ball (aka - excercise ball). It really helps to straddle it and rock back-and-forth or to stretch & roll from side-to-side. It not only stretches that region, but also massages it deep down & provides relief. Good luck!
I had sharp shooting pains from my hips down my thighs. Do consult your doc though.
The growing baby can put pressure on the nerves that run through your back, which can translate to pain in various parts of the leg. The best way to alleviate it is to sleep on your side.
With my first child, I felt the same pain. They say it is very normal. But be safe and check with the doctor
I, too, just asked this question about a few days ago. I was hurting so bad that I was bent over like an old lady and it was hurting down my legs. But I had a major surgery in that area right before I got pregnant and the weight of the baby (I am 24 weeks) is pulling the scar tissues. Mine feels like some guy with steel toe shoes kicked me in the pelvic area. When I stand it hurts so bad. But if does help to take Advil, but you can only take it up to 28 weeks so it won't help you. I suggest a maternity belt like they suggested for me to take the weight off the area. Please keep me post by contacting me.

Congratulations!!!! What are you having?
