Pelvic pain, lower abdominal pain (mostly left side), but sometimes on right, lower back pain?

Starting on 3/1, went for a jog, but had my period. Took a shower, laid down, ever since then been in severe pain. I've had a abdominal CT scan (negative), pelvic ultrasound (negative), seen my primary doc numerous times, gyno twice, even GI doc. Bloodwork is negative, urine negative. Recently saw a chiropractor who told me my 3rd lumbar was unaligned, so he re-adjusted me, felt some lessoning of symptoms in all regions for 2 days, but now back in pain. Gyno has put me on birth control, because they think it may be endometriosis. They want to see if after 2 cycles the birth control takes care of it, but if not, they are recommended laprospcopy. My concern now, since I saw chiropractor, is that it's more of a spine/back problem that is leading to these symptoms, but all my doctors seem pretty sure of the endometriosis - stating "25 yr old, healthy female, it has to be the case" -- any recommendations as to what to do?

When I first got sick w/ my Endo I was sent to a Physical Therapist for pelvic floor issues, even though they thought it was Endo for sure they wanted to make sure that's what they really needed to treat. When I found out I had Endo I had just turned 20. So it is possible that you have it even though you are young. I would talk to your Gyno about doing a lap. That way they can look around and see if it truly is Endo, if they see it some of the implants can be removed. And that can help w/ the pain. I have had 3 laps and the first one worked wonders, i just wished the other two did. Source(s): I suffer from Endo
CALL YOUR DOC YOU MAY HAVE CANCER SORRY TO TELL YOU THAT
ER
look in your area for a "kinetic Chiroprator"
or a 'kinesiologist' in your area.
With chiropractors, you're meant to go back more than once. It takes a while for your body to be convinced to stay where it should. If it helped, then continue with the treatment. I would also find a naturopath or an acupuncturist. Although they don't want us to think this, being on the pill is quite scarey. It does horrible things to our bodies. If you can find another way, I would do it. Ask your chiropractor, he'd be the best one to recommend someone. In the future, try to be more careful when you have your period. Even though we're told we can do the same things as when we don't, our bodies are working hard shedding the uterine lining, and they need to rest.
have they done a biospy of your uterus?? I had the same problem mine is due from endometrious and also i have a blocked tube from infection i know when i have to take meds for it... have u had a c section int he past could be scare tissue. the reason why ur back feels better we tend to favor our body when it is in pain and this causes more issues with our body.... side hurt lean in a little this causing back issues.
