I am having severe pelvic pain during and after intercourse. It feels like a tear that continues to worsen?

I have been checked for infections and have none, but this pain is severe and seems to have no link to anything other than the skin around my pelvic bone. I broke my pelvic bone 6 years ago and had my first child 3 years ago, but this is by far the worst pain, like a very severe paper cut in that very sensitive area. Is this anything worse than a tear? What would it be that the doctor couldn't visibly see?

Are you saying that the doctor do no more than a visual inspection? You need a different, better doctor, and quick. I am not a doctor, but I can think of several possibilites, like an ovarian cyst. Go to a good gynecologist and get a thorough exam, including x-rays or ultrasound. And don't just rely on the wise-alecks who inhabit this place. You need competent advice.

Good luck!!
you need to have a pap test done soon
if you haven't seen an ongyn, then i would make an appt. to see one. they could do an internal exam to see what is going on in there. good luck!
I dont know. But maybe you should go back to your doc or gyn again and complain. The first time they looked and didnt see anything, now this 2nd time they should take it seriously and look harder. If it is just a tear. You may need to take time off and let it heal....But since we dont know for sure, you either need to see the doc or stop doing things for awhile and see if it heals on its own.. It could take a month.. who knows.
Did your doctor do an ultrasound? Sometimes you can develop cysts on your ovaries that can cause pain with intercourse. Have you been checked for PID (pelvic inflammatory disease)? I would suggest going back to your GYN to maybe get an ultrasound if they haven't done one yet.
Maybe its a hernia....

Just a guess
I suggest finding another Dr. For years I suffered from various female problems and my Dr would not do anything except an annual checkup. I went to another Dr. and within an hour I had an explanation for all my symptoms. Poly Cystic Ovaries and my uterus is tilted backwards (which causes pain in certain positions). Last month I had extreme pain during intercourse the Dr did another internal ultrasound and found I had a hemorrhagic cyst the size of my fist.
