Im 33 weeks pregnat and ive been having pelvic pain is this normal.? |
im 33 weeks into my first preganacy and i started getting shooting pain right on my pelvic area also i had a few braxton hikks earlier stronger than usuall is this normal or does this mean i might be going into labor It could be labor, but it could just be your baby 'dropping'. Your baby is starting to get big now! Around this time in pregnancy, your baby drops-moves into the head down position-to get ready for labor. More than likely, this is what happened. It puts lots of extra pressure on your pelvis-while making it easier to breath, it can make it uncomfortable to sit or walk for long periods. The shooting pain may be your sciatic nerve. I think your best bet, for peace of mind, would to just call your ob/gyn. They'll let you know if there is cause for concern, and if that is the case, they will see you right away. probably "normal" everyone is different. i had BH contractions for 8 weeks before labor. BH contractions are TOTALLY differnt from the real thing. you will know when real contractions start. have the doctor check your dilation and baby's position. It is very normal. That is the baby growing and moving. It will/may get worst but don't be to alarmed it is a natural feeling when pregnant. I know i asked my doctor the same thing If it's your pelvic bone area - it's most likely just your ligaments stretching... your pubic bone is actually two bones connected with ligaments. During late pregnancy, your body starts producing relaxin - a hormone to help losen up those ligaments to make birth easier. This is so painful for me in pregnancy that some mornings I can hardly walk. Some women never experience it! This explains it well: http://www.babyworld.co.uk/information/p... (i'm gonna be discreptive sorry) pain like weights have been clamped to your labia lips and are trying to rip you apart, shooting pain when your sitting or laying down and you move your legs? Well it was normal for me with my first two pregnancies, it started around the 6 month with the first and around 4 mnths with my second, i sure hope it doesn't start as soon with this pregnancy. My dr said it 's the stretching of the uterus. |
