| *Women health>>>Pelvic Pain |
U am 37 weeks pregnant and can not walk because of pelvic pain. what can i do to start contractions? |
i already know sex but i hurt to bad for that and i can't walk eaither Honestly you are in the last couple weeks of your pregnancy I would do anything to help the pain as long as the baby is healthy. I had alot of pelvic pain when I was pregnant with my son he didn't exactly have a small head. The Last few weeks is when your babies brain and lungs are developing to their full potential. Please try and stay away from starting contractions. All else fails go and talk to your doctor about it. The Pelvic pain you are most likely feeling is your body getting ready to give birth I went through it for awhile when I was pregnant with my son. I found what worked the best was a nice warm bath and don't wear anything to tight around your waist it will only make things worse. If you are allowed to try a couple regular tylenol. Trust me if this is your first when mom's say the pain is worth it and you forget all about it when you hold your baby for the first time is it true. I did natural labour and delivery with my son and when I got to hold him I forgot all about it until they had me move. Good Luck and all the best to you! Source(s): Mother of 2 call hospital and ask their opinion- has your water broken? if not they might keep you on in hosipital bed rest and break your water early Im in the same boat, you know what my Dr told me ? TO WALK ! He said the pain is the baby pressing down on the pelvic area and that the walking will help move the baby into the birth canal and help the cervix to dilate faster. He said even if I went into labor they would make me walk the halls of the hospital so its better to do it at the mall. I would talk to my ob/gyn about the pain. It is not normal. If they have to they can induce labor or schedule a c-section. But again, pain is not normal. wow sounds like you have dropped! I am 37 weeks and do not have that yet. Do you still feel ok? Are you haing any contractions? All I know of is walking, sex, and good old fashioned patience, which is what sounds like you may have to do. If you are really really hurting you might want to call your OB and let them know. I hope it is soon for you! Congrats! try stimulating your breasts and nipples, or try to just move around a lot (even if it's just rolling around in bed). But you know, the baby will come out when it's ready no matter what you do. Good luck! :) |
