| *Women health>>>Pelvic Pain |
I'm 9 months pregnant and i am feeling alot of lower pelvic pain, what does that pain mean? |
the pain isn't contractions, it's just pain in the lower pelvic muscles in between the hips It means that your baby is getting lower into your pelvic bone and it is stretching. It is all part of it and it is the part that your friends don't tell you about. Don't stress about it, but if you are really concerned talk to your dr at your next appt. Good luck. Most likely the baby is descending and putting pressure on your pelvic muscles. Expect to go into labour any time. the baby is settling more and more down Honey, your body is making room in your birth canal to prepare for your baby. You will feel alot of discomfort in your hips as well. Start walking if you want to stay in shape for delivery, but don't over do it cause you will need to rest also. your joints are loosening up, they are getting ready for labor. im having that same pain. sucks doesnt it? i feel it mostly when i get out of bed, or when i sleep too long. lol i feel like a big seal rolling to the edge of the bed. but you have to take it easy man that pain will kill ya....lol believe me i am finding that out. love jen. My Dr. told me that it is broad ligament pain, from where the baby is exerting alot of pressure down there and things have been stretched to the max. Congrats on the new baby & I wish you the best of luck!!! Well...you ARE 9 months pregnant! Are you sure it is not contractions? They may just be mild ones. A lot of women feel that kind of pain with contractions. I felt it in my lower back, my hips and my legs before I felt it in my abdomen. It is also possible that they are just braxton hicks contractions, but because the baby is big now, it gives you a very uncomfortable feeling. It may also be your bosy preparing for what is to come. Muscles are stratching, your cervix may be dialating and thinning out. Also, your baby may be engaging down into the birth canal. Did you call your doc? Have you been very active recently? I am 8 months along and on Halloween, we walked 2 miles and I had pain in that same area, but my doc said that I just overdid myself and to get some rest. It went away after getting some rest. Good luck and Congrats! |
