I'm 30 weeks pregnant and have really bad pelvic pain can this cause early labor? I'm pregnant now with my third child, and I can tell you this is completly normal. I am only 6 months along this time around and I have them as well. You have to remember that your body is preparing itself for labor. Your hips are widening so your body will have enough room to hold the baby. It will be sore, probably up until the day you go into labor but it definitally will not cause you to go into labor early. If you do, it is most likely caused by something else. If you feel more worried about this always speak to your doctor! He know best of course but from experience I feel that you have nothing to worry about right now! Good Luck to you and Congrats!!! Source(s): Mommy of 2 and one more on the way! it could be from excess hormones allowing your muscles and ligaments to relax too much....then the weight of the baby bears down and makes it feel almost like someone is kicking you in the groin! i am almost 39 weeks pregnant and ive had this the past couple months. try to keep your legs together when getting in and out of bed....also if it starts feeling sore....sit down and relax if you can. I am 34 weeks pregnant and am having really bad pelvic pain. Your joints are stretching. My pain may be due to the pressure of my baby dropping. Here some helpful sites: www.babycenter.com and www.iampregnant.com no!may be something is going on,i do not think you are having early labor It could be braxton hicks which is like labor but just not the real thing. If your worried Iyou should contact your DR just so you feel comfortable I too have these pains its sometimes caused by the widening of the hips. and the pressure of the uterus on your pelvic bones if i lay on a hard surface like the floor i get bad pelvic pains. when i get up. is it worse when you get up in the morning ? you probably need a pillow between your legs for better positioning and comfort. and for me with each pregnancy its gotten earlier in the pregnancy.(this is my third) |
