4 day period when its usually 7, sharp pain in pelvic area, burning sensation in shoulderblades and abdomen?


i have recently been experiencing lots of burning sensations in my upper back, lower back and abdomen area. i also have been having lots of pain in my pelivc/ vagina area. (which has been going on for awhile)......i got my period three days late, (which doesnt suprise me becuase i'm on birth control) but it only lasted for 4 days and then turned brown......whats going on, does anyone know?

Women often have very short periods when on the birth control pill, that is one of the benefits of being on them. The burning sensations could be a number of things, some of them serious. My advise is to get to a doctor asap and get checked out.
