Is it normal to have sharp pains with in the pelvic region when Im only 7 months pregnant? |
This is my 3rd pregnancy and I do not recall feeling this way with the other two. The pains points are in my cervic and feels like (not to be gross but) its going to come out my you know what. Yes it's normal for women to have sharp pains during pregnancy, it's just your pelvis and muscles being stretched by the baby that is causing the pains. If u keep your regular OBGYN appointments and have no other symptoms i'd say it's normal. I had no pains with my first child but i had bad pains with my second baby, so much i was worried i would go into pre term labor but my doctor assured me that it was normal and my daughter is now almost 2 years old. If your really concerned i say see a doctor, it couldn't hurt and could put your mind at ease. I would check with your doctor to be sure, Im not really postative but its better to be safe...good luck! think your doctor might be a better person to ask...please do not take any chances with this.. good luck Not to scare you, but this does not sound normal to me. Call your Dr. Best wishes. i had some rather sharp pains in my cervix around the same time in my pregnancy and i was told that in MY circumstances it was normal as it was my cervix getting ready... within about a week i lost my plug/ had my show but i still didnt have bub until i was 38 weeks the baby can also be putting alot of pressure down there so when you go to the toilet it feels like its going to pop out if u know what i mean i would still go to the doctors but you may find its the same problem dont worry about it. its only your pelvis stretching getting ready to give birth it could be gas or your muscles stretching to accomodate the baby. I experienced those all the way from 4 to 9 months. but if you are truly worried about this, consult your doctor. |
