Does anyone have Polycystic ovary syndrome/ (PCOS)?

I've just being diagnosed with it, the weight gain is making me really down, is there any good diet tips you could give me?

And how severely does it affect your fertility? im only 19 & would love to have a family one day...

Having PSOS does not meant rhat you cannot have children. If you get put on birth control, when you get off of it after a few months you should start to ovulate and get pregnant on your own. But many women use fertility drugs and have great success. Don't worry about not being able to have kids, PCOS is very common. I was a student for an OB/GYN and many women were diagnosed with this while I was there and the doctor told them the same thing. So, when you want to have children just have a chat with your doctor!! Good Luck!!
