Does anyone else have polycystic ovary syndrome and can't seem to get pregnant? what do I do, I've been to Dr.

and he has done everything. I have had to surgeries and i am currently on birth control pills and glucophage for the second time. What do i do if all fail? Please help.

Don't let Ang M naysay your desire to give birth. I have PCOS as well. It took me 12 years, and yes I have a healthy son. He's almost 5. Im losing weight again. and doing what I did before to ttc. I will be hitting the injectables this fall. good luck!

I took me and my husband about 20 months to get pregnant. Is the doc that you seen a specialist? If not see one or get a second opinion maybe there are some other options availble for you. The metformin 1500mg that my doc prescribed didnt help at all. It took 3 cycles of Clomid to get pregnant. I also had a DC to remove fibroids and old lining since I went 6 months without a cycle. I'm still coping with some of the side effects of the PCOS extra hair and weight gain but I am currently 21 weeks pregnant. The month I got pregnant I didnt have a positive OPT so I kind of gave up then we concieved. I wish you the best of luck.

then you adopt a child. i mean, do you want to be pregnant or do you want to be a parent? sometimes people do not get to experience all parts of life, but get over it. you could still give a great home to a child that needs one, dont get all selfish about it.

I'm on BC pills and glucophage as well. Although I take 2000mg of glucophage instead of 1500mg. Maybe you need a boost? I'm currently ttc for 11 months now. I'm going back to the doctors in April. My doc told me the most fertile time for a woman is that first cycle of getting off the BC pills. If you don't conceive within that cycle your going to have some troubles getting pregnant. Whether it be taking 6 months to conceive to years. Good luck! Baby dust to us all!!!

I also have the same problem you have and was told that i would not be able to get preg but in december i did and in feb i has a miscarriage at 8 weeks. I heard about A fertility drug called ovulex and will be trying it next month, you should lookit up and try it also. Or ask your doctor for clomid.

Maybe God wants you to adopt a child. There are millions of children on this planet who have been abandoned and don't have a family. Why not instead of trying to kill yourself getting pregnant (which you obviously are going to have problems with) you help one of those children out. Stop being selfish and start making a difference for a child who already has been born and is not being loved or properly raised.

Unless you're an ex-con... then nevermind.
