Can somebody help me in knowing more about Polycystic ovaries syndrome (PCOS) in women ? |
What is the time taken for curing it ? and what are the preferred medicines ? These are most common simptoms of PCOS: Women who have this usually have unwanted facial and body hair growth, very irregular periods, fertility problems, problems with body shape (usually less curvy),and diabetic symptoms. Treatment usually includes prescription drug used to treat diabetes such as Glucophage,Avandia and Actos. You can't really cure it--it's a lifelong thing. But you can make it better, possibly by losing weight. Generally, women are put on Metformin, and some are given birth control pills. |
