Depo Provera and Polycystic ovary syndrome- Pregnancy? |
I'm 31 and was on depo provera for 9 years, my last injection was 22 months ago. I recently found out that I have polycystic ovary syndrome as well. I've been on glucophage for a year, haven't been able to loose weight and I have a big bone structure. I'm 1.74m tall and weigh 203 pounds. What are my chances of falling pregnant as we desperately want children, but don't want to go for fertility treatments. Hello there- I also have PCOS, I demanded about 5 months ago that my doctor test me and sure enough. I am also TTC right now, and am just in the beginning stages of it. The things my OB told me to do was to try to lose some of the extra weight which always helps. My doctor is also putting me on something called clomid on monday which tricks the body into releasing eggs. I also was on glucophage, and didnt lose weight either , my ob stold me it works for some and not for others. She then put me on something called Prometrium. Which helped and brought on a period regularly. I would talk more to your OB and see if theres anything they can put you on to help. Its not easy TTC with PCOS. But its do - able!! Good luck **BABYDUST** |
