To the women who suffer from Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) have you taken tablets for it? And does it work? |
Hi there, I was doing some research into help PCOS, and came across a website which found a revolutionary new system designed to reverse PCOS! I Found: .. 1) NUTRACEUTICALS 2) PCOS/InsulX 3) PCOS/RejuvenX and PCOS/GlucX So I was wondering to the women who suffer from PCOS or anybody who knows anybody who has taken anything along the lines, I need to know, DOES the tablets work? And is they only CERTAIN types of people that can take it? Please let me know, I appreciate it very much! Thanku heaps!! :) Website I am refering to is: http://pcos.insulitelabs.com/pcos-elemen... Thanks Again! Hey there! I've had PCOS for about four years now and in one of my many searches for information, I too, had stumbled upon the insulite website. Initially, I was super excited. I was beyond ready to place my order. I sent out an information request and then brought the idea to my fiance and my mother who both nixed the idea, saying that buying drugs off the internet wasn't the brightest idea ever (they never replied to my request either). You never truly know what they're going to send. They could send you a jar of sugar pills or perhaps something much less harmless. Bottom line is, you're already having health issues. Do you honestly want to take the risk of creating more? Unless you're willing and able to see someone face to face and purchase whatever you have to take from a trustworthy pharmacy, you shouldn't even bother. The best advice I can give is to find a good doctor who is willing to sit down with you, hear your story and give you options. I personally was not able to go the route of the birth control pill because of a blood disorder, but after a doctor who threw up her hands and another who was too busy talking to listen, I found someone who I feel really comfortable with. She gave me Provera (synthetic progesterone) to take ten days out of the month along with Glucophage which I take twice a day, every day. I've only started the hormone therapy about a month and a half ago, but so far, it seems to be working. Hope I've been helpful! Feel free to contact me with any more questions. =] I have PCOS, been dealing with it for 10 years. I would recommend talking to your dr about treatment options and the safety of the products you mentioned. Using the birth control pill is a very common form of treatment for PCOS along with sometimes using a water pill. Some also take Glucophage to help with it because some have Insulin Resistance. Irregular or heavy periods may signal the condition in adolescence, or polycystic ovary syndrome may become apparent later when a woman has difficulty becoming pregnant. The signs and symptoms of polycystic ovary syndrome stem from a disruption in the reproductive cycle, which normally culminates each month with the release of an egg from an ovary (ovulation). The name polycystic ovary syndrome comes from the appearance of the ovaries in some women with the disorder 鈥?large and studded with numerous cysts (polycystic). These cysts are follicles, fluid-filled sacs that contain immature eggs. Polycystic ovary syndrome is the most common hormonal disorder among women of reproductive age in the United States, affecting an estimated 5 percent to 10 percent. Early diagnosis and treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome can help reduce the risk of long-term complications, which include diabetes and heart disease.
