I have polycystic ovaries syndrome and endometriosis what are some diet and health tips to make it better? |
I want to have children and am getting older mid 30's. anybody have any ideas tips or ecnouragement I had a baby at 25 with POS and a very minimal case of endometriosis without a hitch so..when I remarried at 37 and told my GYN (with whom I participated in a POS clinical study for) he told me I had better go home and get to work. He wrote me a script for Glucophage (one of the drugs in the study they had tested years back) and as an afterthoght and said if nothing happened in three months to take "these" and proceeded to write me a script for "litter maker stuff'' I got pregnant the next cycle with Glucophage (regulates blood sugar). Had 11 lb 7oz baby (note: that is not plural. Good luck! Try a glycemic index diet. It's good for you, and total variety. I've heard that Cinnamon helps with the Endometriosis part, but otherwise, my advice would be....get pregnant quick then have a hysterectomy! I have PCOS as well. I read about a woman who got pregnant with PCOS and that alone made her lose the weight and made a lot of her symptoms of it go away. So maybe just get pregnant!! and take lots of vitamins and lots of water and try the glucophage. |
