I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome? |
I want to know if anyone has any references on this syndrome Womens Health.Gov is a good site with some details on this condition, I myself have it as well and badly, also staying on a good diet (sugar free/lowcarb diets are ideal for pcos) and exercise help to keep your insulin in check and the syndrome less active and if you follow a good regimen you may even be able to have normal menstration and less symptoms, if any at all. Pcos can be a major problem if not taken seriuolsy, so I cannot stress more how important it is to do everything you can on a natural level even if they put you on meds or other treatment. Also there is an author who has written a great deal of very good books on pcos and managing it, her name is Colette Harris, you might consider purchasing one or more of them. Hope this info helps. heres a url about PCOS http://www.4woman.gov/faq/pcos.htm... almost forgot, there are alot of good yahoo groups for women with pcos, you can learn alot from those who have it as well. Source(s): http://www.4woman.gov/faq/pcos.htm... call your gyn and explain that you left the office without the info on your diagnose. you paid for the info, so don't leave without understanding everything the doctor tells you in the future. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/polycystic_... here ya go im so sorry |
