But I am not overweight. Every medical website says the most common characteristic is obesity. I am 5'3", 115. (The Dr. did an ultrasound of my ovaries though and I saw the cysts.) Is she wrong or am I just un-characteristic?
Just because you're underweight doesn't mean you cannot have PCOS. You only have to have one or two signs for the disease to be present. Some women have no signs at all. However, you may want to get a second opinion.

Nurse I have PCOS as well and am not overweight. I have 2 children (which PCOS normally makes difficult). But I did have bad acne (Accutane cleared it up, thank God!) and I have abnormal amounts of hair in weird places. I also have recurrent ovarian cysts that get quite large (4cm). If you want to know for sure, get a blood test done. It checks the hormone levels and will give you a definite answer.
