Pregnancy? HELP!?

Can a woman get pregnant when her period has already passed?
Or the only way to get her pregnant is during her period?

If i have sex with her a week after her period ended, can she get pregnant? or only near her period?

Who told you that the only time she could get pregnant was during her period? The menstrual period is usually the LEAST likely time to conceive. It means an egg was released but not fertilized. It means the previous cycle ended with no pregnancy.

If you have sex with her a week after her period ends, she is VERY likely to get pregnant from that. Most women ovulate somewhere around the middle of their cycle---some earlier, some later. But sperm can live for several days after ejaculation. So it is very possible for her to ovulate and become pregnant days after the actual sex.

The week prior to ovulation carries the highest chance of pregnancy, and the days before her period carry the least---but if you do not want a baby, there is NO "safe" period of time. A woman can ovulate off-schedule, or more than once, and unless she is actively charting her fertility each and every day, neither you or she will have any clue whether she can or can't get pregnant on any given day.

haha shes not a dog.......only dogs get prego during their periods but women get prego before/after their period wow how old are you that you dont know this

It's hard to tell. Every woman is different. During her period, she usually CAN'T get pregnant, and she will usually be most fertile 10-14 days before her period starts.

A woman releases the egg 14 days after the first day of her period, which means that if you have sex about a week after her period, you will PROBABLY get her pregnant.

All a period is is the cleaning out of the uterus after the egg from the last month has died. Each month, two weeks after the start of the period, an egg is released. It travels to the uterus and sits there. Lots of blood and stuff builds up on the walls of the uterus to help keep the egg safe and alive. If no sperm make contact with the egg, it dies and gets flushed out two weeks later as a period.

Let's say a woman starts her period on the first of January. She might bleed for five days. That leaves nine more days until she releases her egg (9+5=14=two weeks). Let's say the two of you have sex a week after her period ends. That's January 1+5 days for her period + 7 days (a week). That means you had sex on day 12 (5+7). She will release the egg about two days later. Since sperm live 3-5 days in the woman--just hanging out waiting for an egg--there is a GREAT chance she will get pregnant during this time.

Hmm...I hope you were just asking. Good luck!
