Faulty pregnancy tests? Or do some women not show?

I bought several at home pregnancy tests and I was pregnant in Dec-Feb and had a miscarriage I didn't get a positive reading on the urine test at all during that time. Is that normal for some women not to have the hormone show up for a long time? I am afraid I am pregnant again and I don't want to cause defects cause I am on the pill... Suggestions? (I have been very nauseated and tired- haven't skipped my period yet...)

I was 13 wk for my second when i found out. I thought i was only about 4 wks. all my urine tests came back - blood test came back +. i also was still on the pill and got my period

Some tests (FIrst repsonse-failed to show i was preggers for 4 months!) are not as sensitive, and will only read the hormone in HUGE amounts, but sometimes if you drink loads before taking one it will dilute the urine and wont detect much anyway.

Try taking a test in the morning and try to make sure its a good one (i know its pricey but better)

READ the back and check sensitivity.

if still neg and you think preggers, understand some women simply dont produce much of the hormone, its not a problem though


Ps. tests work better if taken 2 weeks after skipped period
