Pregnancy?????? im just confused.?

okay well i got a negative pregnancy test but my body is still acting wierd. Like im having some pregnancy symptoms, and my period was very wierd and i have had it for about 4 years now regularly and this one was odd because it stopped after 3 days and i thought it was done then i had sex twice and two days later i had brown/dark red spotting and then today i have had a lot of discharge. Also before my last period i had headaches and neauea and gas and my boobs hurt really badley to the point if i touched them they hurt and it just kept getting worse. its wierd because i have never had PMS symptoms before and never had the cramps i did my first day or the tender breasts. Im just wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them and can PMS symptoms just randomly start? and does it mess up your period the first time you get them?? and should i be worried at all about the having sex when i did?

Well, you can develop PMS symptoms at any point in life while you're having your period - for example, I didn't start getting cramps until 10 years after I started my period!

Also, your period can act weird for a number of reasons - stress, change in diet, gaining or losing weight, change in exercise routine, or health issues.

As for having sex, is it possible that you're pregnant? Sure - there's a chance of pregnancy every time you have sex, even if you're using a method of contraception, like the pill or condoms. Contraception can lessen your chances of pregnancy, but they don't eliminate it.

If that bleeding you mention was an actual period, then it's probably not very likely that you ovulated (released an egg from your ovaries), and if you hadn't ovulated, then there's nothing to fertilize and therefore make you pregnant. However, since it wasn't a "normal" period, there's no real way to tell if you'd ovulated or not.

If you're concerned about what you experienced, the best thing to do is to talk to your doctor. They'll be able to better tell you what might be going on, and if necessary, test for medical conditions or infections.

As for being pregnant, if you are late with your next period, if it's lighter than usual, or if you skip it completely, you should take another pregnancy test. They really are not accurate until the expected time of your period.

Good luck!

This actually just started happening to me recently. I've had my period now for 4 years and it started about 5-6 months ago. I get heavy cramps, bloating, heavy bleeding, very tender breasts, headaches and nausea. It takes almost 6-7 years for your mentrual cycle to completley regulate. And yes the 3 days and then stopping and starting back up again it happens to me all the time. It has something to do with the uterus needing a break before continuing the finally expellition of the lining.

First, know that almost all of the pregnancy "symptoms" are symptoms of PMS. It is not uncommon to get off cycle every couple of years, especially if you are on birth control and you missed a couple pills. Even missing one can sometimes mess up your cycle. If you have tested negative so far then I wouldn't worry about it too much. You can try going to a free clinic (you can search on google for one near you) or a university health center if you're in college for some help.

It all sounds normal to me. The color of the blood does not matter, it varies between brown and red. Breast tenderness around time for menstruation is normal. About all you can do is pop a Midol and pray for it to be over soon. If you still feel this is not right for your body consult your OB/GYN for a checkup.

I would go to the gyno and ask for a check up, ask them about your symptoms and se if they can tell you ways to make them less painfull. Every womens body is different and reacts differently to everything, the gyno will be able to give you many ideas about your issues and will help you in everyway they can

YES YOU CAN GET PMS AT ANYTIME. BUT YOU NEED TO SEE A GYN TO FOLLOW UP WITH THESE PROBLEMS. REMEMBER PREGNANCY TEST CAUSE BE WRONG JUST FOLLOW UP ON IT AND DONT WAIT TO LONG

if u did a pregnancy test and it was negative the u need to take a blood test to see if its positive

Just wait another month to take another test and see then..

Some pregnacy tests arn't right. Go to your doctor to figure it out.
