I lost 26 pounds out of the 35 pounds gained during pregnancy..? |
I lost 26 pounds out of the 35 pounds gained during pregnancy in 4 weeks....is that pretty good? Or do you think I should of lost more at this time? I just reduced what I have been eating and walking like 3 days a week. What do you guys think? I think you are off to a great start. You will likely get different answers, but remember, it's different for everyone. If you are and the baby are both doing good, I wouldn't worry about it. Just continue to lose gradually. And congratulations on the new baby! They change our lives, but are such a blessing. that is pretty good but remember not all the weight you gained is fat and it will take more time to go away like for instance it takes about 3 months for your body to get rid of the extra blood in your system here is estimation of the extra pregnancy weight break down according to a baby book and some of this is lost immediatly or within a month or two afterwards but some takes more time 5-10lb extrabody supplies/fat 4-5lbs blood 3-5lbs breasts placentia 1-2lbs baby 5-10lbs uterus 2-3lbs and amniotic fluid 2-4lbs That's a LOT of weight loss in such a short period of time. I mean you lose the weight of the baby + 3-4 pounds in fluid and placenta when the baby is born alone and then you SHOULD only lose 1-2 pounds a week after that for HEALTHY weight loss. If you're breastfeeding then you're losing way too fast and you could be robbing the baby of vital nutrients because of your dieting. Start to slow it down or your body will go into starvation mode. thats damn good. i went from 120lbs in my nineth month to 190lbs AFTER my son was born. hes now 6 years old and im finally at a weight im comfortable with.(145lbs) uh thats excellent.. |
