Is there a way ( other than birth control and pregnancy) to stop having a period?

Is there a way ( other than birth control and pregnancy) to stop having a period?

Not really, unless you have a significant amount of weight loss or weight gain; in this case the periods will stop for about a year, usually. If your under stress a lot, you may skip a month or two depending on how stressed you are and for how long but I don't recommend you to put yourself under stress just over your periods, stress isn't healthy for not only your heart but the rest of your body. You could also get a hysterectomy if your old enough I suppose, but usually doctors only do that procedure if there's something serious going on and you need it done, but you can look into it. Good luck.

You can get a hysterectomy, a surgery that removes your uterus completely.

Usually women only opt for this if they have a serious reproductive problem (like advanced Pelvic Inflammatory Disease). It is a big decision to make, even for women who do suffer from a disease and know that the removal will help them.

Point is: periods suck, but we all have to deal with them (yes, even guys, because think about how bit*hy we can be on them).

No, not really, unless your having bad heath issues becase of you're periods, sorry. It's nature, that's the way it is, sorry.

a hysterectomy, birth control and pregnancy are the only ways to stop your period. sorry.
