Things to consider: Yes, lube will keep friction from breaking the condom. Spermicide is good too because it kills the sperm also. Best brands are the Crown brand. Hospitals give those out. I really don't think it matters but I will say that I have had the most breakage with Trojan condoms, it is always better to use two forms of birthcontrol ie. a condom and a hormonal birthcontrol. you should do your own research, most brands claim to be just as effective as the next.
