Why don't women/girls treat pregnancy seriously?

As in "Oh I'm preggo" or "I think I might be preggerz"

yeah i know what you mean.it is quite disgusting to see a pregnant girl walking around talking like a 2 year old.
what is even more disgusting is women who give birth in a public bathroom and just "leave"the baby in the trash.
sorry it was on the news.

I think alot of this is due to societal influences. I agree pregnancy is a very serious issue. It startles me to see so many girls considering abortion as a form of birth control. I truly believe people need to take responsibility for their actions. If two people are consenting and decide to have sex they need to be aware they may create a baby and they need to own up to this responsbility.

Raising a baby is a two person job, it's unfortunate so many TV shows portray women raising babies so easily on their own. While I'm sure many women out there have done it, I bet not a single one of them had no help at all.

I'm sorry to ask but, how old are you?

If you get a girl pregnant, then when she announced it, you should either shout for joy or fret it, which I suspect you are doing. If so, then you were not serious about her and are about to dump her.

However, this is a very good opportunity for you to show her you love her very much. I suspect, please forgive me if I am wrong, that you are not married. But if you are really serious about her, then a private wedding is the best gift you can ever give her.

what if all these things were going through your mind like omg how will i raise this kid, what will my mom think, will he leave me, will i be alone, should i consider abortion....

there is another human being growing in your body, dam! think about it?! its a tough thing to bear especially if your'e not ready...
and most girls might wonder if they are pregnant but are most likely sure they are not so thats what makes them not take as serious as others....

some girls dont know if there pregnant they are unaware of the symptoms and they may be very young so its hard for them and they would just like advice from others of what symptoms could be etc....
i know all in all the best thing to do is get a test and go to the doctor...but you can't take a test until a week after your missed period...so there is that couple weeks you have to wait and the anxiousness or excitement will drive you NUTS! trust me it happend to me and i was asking questions on here if i could b pregnant only because i had to wait to take a test or it wouldnt be accurate. turned out i wasnt.

so dont tell us to grow up...you have no idea how it feels okay. especially if you are young. parents can be harsh.

some dont take it seriously mostly cause they're young, thats probably where you got the "preggerz" from.
not only young but uneducated.
and less and less communication between parents and children.
people need to understand how all this war fare is affecting everyone, specially kids.
school need more resources. and parents need help and shouldnt have to worry so much bout not losing their jobs and paying bills and worry more bout their kids.

Why do they have to anymore they dont want responsibility for their actions? Lets go jump and get an abortion? Lets take a pill to force miscarriage. Society is kind of sick if you think about it.

I think a lot of it has to do with the menthods that are available to persay get rid of the "preggerz".
