How safe are condoms against pregnancy? What is the most trusted brand in condoms?

The tests used on condoms are the same, so all condoms have to meet the same standards to be allowed on the market.
**do not use condoms that have spermicide on them (nonoxynol-9)....the spermicide has been shown to cause inflammation of the vaginal/rectal wall and can increase the likelihood of HIV acquisition should the condom break.......there is also no statistical difference in pregnancy protection with a spermicidally lubed condom and a water-based lubed condom**

Condoms are very effective at preventing pregnancy if they are used EVERY TIME and used CORRECTLY. I would recommend both condoms and birth control to be the best way to prevent pregnancy and other STIs. Some STIs can transmit even with condom use, but using a condom will lower your risk for many STIs

condoms are pretty safe if they are put on right and don't break. but your partner should be on birth controll as well, i think the pill is a little more effective then condoms.
brands like Trogan and Durex are pretty good, don't go with the cheap ones.

Condoms are something like 95% effective against pregnancy. Trojan is a good kind because they usually dont break easilly.
