Sharp Stomach Pains, Sign Of pregnancy ...?

I had my last period april 10th and I had actual sex may 11th with my husband. I couldnt have sex with him sooner because he was out on a business trip and I dont know if its too late that I missed my ovulation or something. I have a 33 to 35 day cyle and I should be getting my period today. I have sharp pains in my stomach and I feel like I have alot of gas. Do you think this could be a sign pregnancy or do you think I already missed my chance and do you think it just could be my period coming ?

I really wish women would understand they can get pregnant ANY time during their cycle. While most often women will ovulate roughly 14 days in and be fertile for a period of 5 days (approx.) because sperm can live for up to 5 days in a women. So this sperm can enter before or after ovulation. As well, women can actually ovulate TWICE in a cycle, greatly increasing their fertile days. You can even get pregnant during your period if the sperm enters the vagina near the end of your menstruation and you have an early ovulation that cycle. So you could be pregnant.

That being said, your symptoms don't sound like pregnancy symptoms. However, one woman's body may react one way to a pregnancy as compared to anothers.

This is what you should be doing now:

1. Take a pregancy test. There are tests that will give you a response before you even get your first period. Remember: These can predict chemical pregnancies

2. If your test is negative I would give it some time and take another just to be on the safe side. If your test is positive you need to go to a doctor and get officially tested.

Best of luck! You're going to be great! :-)

you wouldnt feel symptoms till about a week or two after sex if you were pregnant...so i think it may be your period coming on since you did say it was supposed to happen today.
if your period doesnt come i would go for the prego test or go see a doc.

good luck

You can get pregnant 1-2 weeks after your period also, not just when ovulating. The only way to be sure is to take the test girl! Good Luck
