Preparing for pregnancy... diet changes. Help please!?

My partner & I are TTC #1 as of last night.

I like to take my lunch with me to work each day. Im looking for cheap, different lunch ideas that I can prepare before and during pregnancy.

Please note: I cant eat seafood including tuna/sardines etc and dont want to eat salad every single day as it gets boring.

Suggestions?

anything healthful is fine.... it is more important to take a prenatal vitamin (it has folate), drink sufficient water and get sufficient rest. other than that... the obvious.. no smoking or alcohol... you know the usual.

the website below has some good ideas about timing and what to look for to increase your liklihood of getting pregnant... it is always good to be knowledgeable.

best of luck...

Just make sure you get enough protien from REAL MEAT. You will crave it anyways. Don't ignore your cravings as they are such a beautiful thing about women that tell you what your baby needs to grow and be healthy. Oh and take some of those omega - 3 capsules, they'll make your kid smarter :)

certain foods can improve chances of having a girl! like yams and soy!
