Help my pregnancy?

i am 10 weeks pregnant and i woke up this morning with sharp pain on the left side of uterus and its like a couple of inches above my thigh!
i also went to the bathroom and seen that i am discharging mucus(to much info) but i am just wondering i mean it was a long string of mucus whats going on

I am 8 months pregnant.. and early in my pregnancy i had similar pains.. My doctor told me it was just my uterus growing.. as for the discharge it is normal to have more while pregnant and it could sometimes look like mucus.. If you become concerned i would call your OBGYN just to be safe..
