What are reasons for having a delayed/missed period EXCEPTTT for pregnancy... ? You stressing due to a late period or stressing over anything else can actually delay it so relax and it'll come. Some other things that can delay a period are excessive physical activity, some drugs (oral corticosteriods, antidepressants, antipsychotics, thyroid, and some chemotherapy drugs), a poor diet, hormonal imbalance, or if you have been sick sometime during your cycle. One delayed period is nothing to stress over too much, however if you miss more than one entirely, you should talk to a doctor. It depends on how long you've been having your period. Some girls don't get on a normal track for a couple years after they have started, some it is almost an instant on track thing. Changes in diet. I am 1000% sure!
