Birth control question related to pregnancy...? PLEASE HELP!? |
I have a situation, what if I have been taking my birth control (this is my second month on the pill), I take it around the same time everyday, and I had sex and the guy came inside of me and after that the next day I took the pill like usual but the next day I forgot to take it! Can I still get pregnant? If you just missed one pill (and then took 2 the next day), then (according to my b/c pill insert) there should be no greater risk of pregnancy. If you missed more than one day, then there's a very, very, very small chance (less than 2%), but I think you're fine (not pregnant). Just try and remember to take them every day. Set a timer or put them where you see them and take with a meal. I take mine at breakfast, for example. When you first start on the pill or switch to a different kind of birth control pill you should use a second form of birth control for at least a month. It takes time for your body to get used to it. well the thing with the pill is that it is very effective with consistent use. this is wat u do, if it was just today, tmmrw take double the dose. if it has been more than that, but less than 5 days then take the morning after pill. (in case u didnt know that is basically a strong dose of ur birth control.) you should be fine but i know how paranoid i get, so i would take extra precautions. good luck chances are you wont get preg. since youve been so regular you should be ok, but be careful. the more reg you take it the better it works. the pill keeps an egg from being released and it keeps the uterus lining from thickening, both those things are needed to get preg.
