how do you lose that "spare tire" after pregnancy? my son is almost 2 so its been a while since i had him and i eat right and go to the gym but dont know what else to do to lose my "baby weight" You really can do this. After my first girl, I went to the gym five days a week and I hired a personal trainer (mostly for companionship and to make sure I showed up every day) for 8 weeks. I went on Weight Watchers (nursing mother plan because it had more protein). I went from 179 lbs to 125 in a couple months. ( I felt progress each week). When I had my second daughter, I didn't have the money for a trainer. I just did the modified weight watchers ( lots of salad before each meal and lots of water, no junk food) and then I would take my girl on stroller walks around town each day. My second daughter was "low budget weight loss", but I lost about the same amount of weight in the same time. ( I was feeling like a model after 8 weeks and was in my old jeans) Play with the baby while laying on your back and do modified "sit ups" while playing with the baby. They will giggle and laugh and you will also get a work out that will get the spare tire off. Some mommie groups offer free groups where they have exercises everyone does in the group and will also help take the "tire"off while you make new friends! smile. You can do great floor exercises for your tummy while your son plays on your legs ( as the weight you lift) He will be going "woo hoo!" and laughing, and you will lose your weight faster!
