I took a pregnancy test, and it said negative both times, im not that late on my p, whats wrong? There are hundreds of things that can cause you to be late on your period... A negative pregnancy test can be wrong. A positive can't. So you may be pregnant, but testing too early, so there is not enough of the pregnancy hormone in your body for the test to pick up. I would suggest you leave it a week. If your period still doesn't start, test again. If its still negative, go and see your doctor. Good luck. Periods can be delayed by stressing out about them being delayed and many other random things. Wait for your period to come, until then investigate getting a prescription for birth control so you won't have to worry in the future. Being late on a period isn't too serious.. unless it is really really late.. unless your pregnancy test was wrong both times. Your probably just stressed out but if you had an accident with you couple the chances are that you are just that the test that you are taking are just not picking up your hormones go to a doctor sometimes birth control can playa role in making periods become irregular or there may be something else going on such as an sdt that u are unaware of some don't have noticable symptoms so u should prob go c your obgyn All kinds of things can make you late. Like STRESS. There is a homeopathic remedy that will make you start if you're not pregnant. Stop stressing! So, your not pregnant and your not "that" late on your period. This sounds normal to me.
