I'm late on my cycle but have taken 4 pregnancy tests that came out neg..home tests are pretty accurate right?

i heard a story. this lady took test i dont know how many. she missed her period about a month...all test came out neg.. so she wen to doctor and took blood test. she found out she's pregnant. true story..no lie..

Stress can change the period start dates, also, if you started a new diet or workout sometimes can change it as well. Typically, if you have sex and then do get stressed out, the hormones can actually push back your period even sometimes up to a week off.

The best way to see if this happens to you regularly, is to track your period. Write down the start and end date each month, and then see if you develop a pattern. My sister actually cycles throughout the year. For example, Jan shell have it the first week, Feb, the second, March the third week Apr the 4th, then May she has it back at the beginning of the month. Then other people have it around the same week each month. Don't stress! It obviously isnt helping anything, but typically home pregnancy tests are accurate, so I am sure you are fine. yes, theyre pretty accurate most of the time! if your using the ones with plusses and minuses and different colors those may be harder to read then the simple "pregant" or "not pregnant" ones. if your late and 4 tests said your not pregnant, you probably arent. there are tons of differnet reasons why you could be late or miss a period so dont stress!

TRUE STORY: I've heard of people that have taken at home preg. tests and all came out positive and they went to the doctor to make sure and their test came out negative and she payed them an extra 15 dollars to do it again it came out negative again. So I would go to the doctor.

yes they are accurate but my doctor has told me that sometimes the home preggo test doesn't pick up some of the hcg hormones which can result in false negatives...its best to get a blood test done..its more accurate and the doctors can even tell wut ur hcg hormone level is...u can try planned parenthood..its cheaper

Well if you're having pregnancy signs, I think that you might be pregnant. Talk to your doctor about that if you have any pregnancy signs.

Yes, something like 97-99% accurate. If you've gotten four negatives, then I SERIOUSLY doubt that you are pregnant.

you can get a false negative with a home pregnancy test but not a false positive. go to the dr!
