Pain - Is it all in the mind? If it isn't then why can a woman go through pregnancy yet scream at a paper cut?

Or is it simply that a paper cut is the worst pain ever..........?

Childbirth is an unbelievable pain but you do have adrenalin to see you through and nowadays a number of types of pain relief. Nothing stops it altogether but there is some help. The most important thing is that it is pain with a purpose and so women are motivated to get through it while lesser pains are just a ...........pain.

Because foolish boy pregnancy does not cause pain. Paper cuts on the other hand continue to hurt as the glue gets in the cut and if you do not wash it right away is close to what a cats claw does with the reddness and itching.

I would think having your face peeled off would hurt more though.

We get gas and air or epidurals for labour, Could you P out an orange, that would be the same as a woman delivering a baby - try it and see and tell me how bad the pain is?

Brith does not hurt because you have loving chlid unlike a paper cut.
They hurt a lot if you don't treat them right. Child birth is like pulling your bottom lip over your head.

There's no epidural or overwhelming sense of bond and love after a paper cut.

I think a lot of women scream when giving birth too, its a normal reaction if something hurts you scream

I think most women scream through childbirth too. But I've never met anyone who screams with a papercut?

Google child birth videos, I bet you will see screaming, and maybe a bit of violence too.
