Would taking Metformin effect my Pregnancy? |
Im diabetic and taking Metformin will this effect pregnancy (I would go to the Doctors to find out but my appt. is not until the 16 and I need to know now,,) Metformin is a class B drug. It is safe to take during pregnancy. It's often prescribed for your first trimester and can decrease your changes of miscarriage. No... It will not effect your pregnancy... Meaning, I can assure you that you and your baby will be OK with you on Metformin...
