No period for at least 6 months and negitive pregnancy test is that normal?

the last period i had that i can really remember was dec 24, 2007.. I was on the Birth control Tri-Sprintec... since i stopped them which was in nove.. i had a reg period in dec and haven't had one since..is that normal or not? Please help!

im 22 and weigh bout 165-170lbs

The EXACT same thing happened to me. However I was not on birth control. I went 6 months without a period and was freaked out so I kept taking pregnancy tests and they continually came back negative. I was under a ton of stress with college and finally went to the doctors for a blood pregnancy test and it came back negative. They told me I needed to de-stress a bit. With your case it really could be your body trying to re-adjust to a different hormonal cycle again since you have recently come off hormones and your body may still be taking its time to adjust. At this point since its been a long while, I probably would speak to a doctor about it and perhaps opt for a very accurate pregnancy test such as a blood test.

No I wouldnt think that was normal. I dont know your weight or age, so I cant tell you exactly, but I would see a doctor soon.

weight loss/gain? age? definitely should see a doctor
