About how much weight can i expect to gain during my pregnancy?

sorry my gf wanted me to ask. i'm not pregnant lol

well for a guy.... your penis will fall off and you will gain 300 lbs
for your wify.... 20--45 lbs

20 - 30 lbs was the recommended weight gain in the 60's and 70's and most babies weighed in the 6 lb range. The normal guideline now for 7 - 8 lb baby (considered average) is 40 lbs. I'm assuming you're asking for your wife or you're using someone's ID...cuz Anthony doesn't sound like Anthony could be pregnant :)

Weight change consists of the amniotic fluid (weighing in at around 7 lbs of water) a 50% increase in blood volume, and the average 8 lb baby.

25 - 35 lbs is the minimum weight expected if you are absolutely within average weight range. Heavier women should still expect to gain about 15 pounds ideally. Thinner women should expect to gain to their normal weight and THEN an additional 25 lb minimum. My first child I weighed 95 lbs at my first prenatal and the doctor told me to gain to 110 lbs and THEN 35 - 40 lbs.

Weight gain is not monitored as insanely as it was in the past. Too much weight gain, however, can be a symptom or cause in maternal diabetes. Not enough, affects the child's nutritional needs. My mom (I'm 45) was given diet pills AND water pills during both pregnancies and was in her prepregnancy clothes within a few days of giving birth! To note: both my sister and I were approximately 2 weeks late and weighed under 6 1/2 lbs.

It really depends on your family, how much you already weigh, and the weight of the baby, and how you diet. I don't know this from personal experience but I've been around my stepmom, my mom (3 times), my aunt, etc and they all experience different weights.

Some women don't gain anymore than 10 pounds, while some can gain up to 80 or even 100! My stepmom gained 80 pounds when she was pregnant with my little sister, but she lost all of it after she was born (she weighs around 125-130 now).

Enough weight that in about 5 years you will look in the mirror and go slap your child and say "Look What You Did To Me!" lol Just joking! It varies but they say you shouldn't gain more than 30lbs during pregnancy. (They lie because I gained at least 1000!) Good Luck!

um anthony, you have a lot of problems if you are pregnant you sure you're not just putting on lots of weight?

well....ur a guy....but ur wife or or girlfriend can expect to gain anywhere from 20-40 pounds.

each woman is different, but 24 to 30 pounds is normal

quite a bit!

I mean...it is a HUMAN growing in you!
