During my first pregnancy I had no period, is it possible to have a period during a second pregnancy?

If it's a true period then no I don't think it's possible but you can bleed and bleeding can be signs of a miscarriage or some other things. I notified my dr. when I first noticed spotting and he gave me tips on what to do if I was miscarrying. Please get in touch with your dr. if you are pregnant and bleeding. I did have some bleeding with my last two pregnancies but it was due to my cervix being irritated I guess. The pregnancies went well but I did have one miscarriage. If I didn't know I was pregnant I would have thought I was having a period but menstrating (when the lining of the uterus is shed) should not occur because the lining is needed to protect and help the baby grow. I've heard some women though who have had bleeding every month with their pregnancy. Be on the safe side though and please don't hesitate to call your dr. Sometimes it best to contact him when he's not busy seeing patients like calling the answering service.

you should go and check with your ob-gyne...if your pregnant your period stop, but if your sure your pregnant and your bleeding maybe you have fertilized the egg outside of your uterus, or you could have spotting if it`s really heavy you could have miscarriage...but to be sure go to the doctor.

yes it is and for the full nine months sucks when you think you will get a break from it but just in case tell your doctor to make sure it is not a serious condition i am a nurse and i work and so is my sister and she works in triage so do not stress until you talk to your doctor bleeding do not mean miscarrage it could be normal and it could be placenta previa so do not panick that will be worse for the baby

generally, women dont get their period while they r pregnant. but some women do get their period for reasons i dont know. if u think ur pregnant then see a doctor and have him explain it in more detail

If it is your period it is a miscaragie.

If you're pregnant you do not mensturate. But there can be implantation bleeding that may look like a period.
