How soon can I take a pregnancy test???

My fiance and I have been having unprotected sex daily for the past 3 weeks... even during my period... shortly after my period I spotted for a day (never happens)... 3 weeks later I'm showing signs that I might be pregnant...(fatigue, mood swings, change in foods, peeing alot more, ect) .. My period is due in 5 days ,,, is it to early to take a test and get an accurate answer???

5 days is what all the boxes say but id get a pack of 2 so you can take one today and one 3 days later if its negative.

The earliest the pregnancy hormone would show up on a test is 14 days after ovulation. Ovulation can occur between 11 days to 16 days after the first day of your last menstraul cycle. The first day of your period is defined as the first day of full on bleeding and not just spotting.

The dilemma is that there is no definite way to know exactly when you ovulated (unless you are using ovulation predictor kit). If you ovulated on day 11 then you can probably test now, if you ovulated on day 16 then you would need to wait.

If your super anxious then just test. If you get a negative then test again in a week to make sure it was not a false negative.

Good luck.

wait a couple of days and get a pregnancy test that is marked for early results, i believe ept has one. otherwise wait 5 days until you should normally have your period then take a regular one.

There a new test out for early pregnancy detection just ask the pharmacist he/she can lead you to the right one I think it's clear be easy
