Bleeding after ectopic pregnancy? |
I had emergency surgery 6 days ago due to an ectopic pregnancy that ruptured my left fallopian tube. I lost both the tube and my left ovary. After the surgery I had some minimal post partum like flow but since early yesterday it has gotten much heavier and appears more like a period (dark red and constant, sorry I know TMI). I can't get through to the Dr and the local health nurse just said to get checked tomorrow. I am wondering if anyone else experienced anything similar after having an ectopic pregnancy removed and if so was it a normal part of the process? Right this is one horrible subject, but i had the experience so i shall answer. Right, i was 13 when i had my ectopic pregnancy i had my left fallopian tube removed. i bleed very heavy after and it was also dark. don't worry too much but if it goes on for longer than 2 weeks after, i wold go too my GP. Have they gave you any paint killers, such as CoDrydamol or something like that. if they have be very careful they made me be violently sick and i even wet the bed :O yes i know. well hope your question is answered :D x |
