no, not much chance, 18 days after her period ended would put her about 22 - 24 days (assuming her period is 4-6 days_ since it started... so day 22-24 of her cycle, is within about 1 week of her next one starting if she's on the typical 28 day cycle. look at this chart

the reason they say you can get pregnant at any time is because the menstrual cycle is obviously difficult for many people to understand (as we have seen here). That's why it's easier to just tell people you can get pregnant at any time instead of trying to explain everything to them and chance them still screwing it up. It is possible to ovulate on your period or at random times in your cycle but only when one ovary gets out of synch with another and that's very uncommon. They typically alternate months.

a woman is most fertile at the 14 th day after her last period started but anytime between 7 and 14 days is al;so possible if she is a text book case but i have heard of girls becoming pregnant within hours of stopping bleeding.

If 72 hours have not passed yet get her a morning after pill soon. wait for the next period and if it comes normally than only you are safe, otherwise within a day or two of her scheduled date go for a pregnancy strip test.
