Is it ok to get your wisdom teeth pulled during pregnancy? |
Is it ok to get your wisdom teeth pulled during pregnancy? most dentists will pull wisdom teeth if it is necessary to do so in the middle of your pregnancy. They use local anesthesia, not much different than if you had to get stitches or something. call a local dentist and see what they say. I wouldn't think so. Because most of the time they sedate you during the surgery (pulling your teeth). I personally don't think its a good idea but consult with your OBGYN. I don't see why not... That is as long as they don't put you under. I had all four of mine pulled at once just using Novocaine. If they are hurting, by all means, GET THEM OUT!! |
