Having a hard time finding the willpower to lose the pregnancy weight...?

Here I am... many months post-partum... and I weigh 5 lbs. MORE than the day I gave birth. My appetite is insane (still exclusively nursing) and my energy level is low... fromt he lack of a good night's sleep! I have a good 40 lbs. to lose and am finding it daunting. I just keep postponing the day I'll work on the issue... because I feel so overwhelmed and depressed when I think of it. I would appreciate any tips/advice from people who have been there please.

Biggest % of working out is mind control.Put your mind to it.You have to do this..Make working out become a habit and fun..Takes about 3 wks,ever-day walk after you eat ,you can do 2 sets of squats,8 reps(No weights). This will help you make it become a habit. You will start to develop your legs is where your energy comes from..Do this and 3 weeks start new phase.. join weight watchers its' cheap and you can eat a variety of foods even junk food and still lose weight
did weight watchers and still had my junk food
I had the same problem, I had to order some diet pills off the internet called phenermine to help me, they are a cheaper version of adipex an hun they work grea an are safe... They dont keep your heart racing like most energy pills...They control your hunger, you get hungry but you cant eat that much... I lost 20lbs over the summer an now im out of them an started getting lazy where its getting cold an aint out side as much... But im taking control because i dont wanna gain that weight back so iv been walking on the treadmill ever night an eatting good... You should try them, they got me together... Best of Luck!!!
Do something so you stop feeling bad, just start lightly or you will get discouraged. Anything is more than you are doing now and a reason to feel good. Don't try to cut back too far on eating right away or you won't make it.

Count calories for permanent loss. Do cardio and only light weights so you don't gain too much muscle weight. If you take in 2500 calories now, reduce to 2000 and work off a couple hundred to start, then reduce a little more after a few weeks and increase a little in exercise. Every pound of weight is something like 3500 calories. So you need to know where you are at, if you knock off 500 hundred a day you lose a pound (500 reduced calories x 7 days=3500) a week, add in the workout for a few days to reduce weight a little faster.

Summer will be here before you know it and you don't want to have make excuses why you can't swim or go to the lake or anything fun!

Oh yeah and, vote for me as best answer:)
me, the gym!
