How the ovum became empty in the case of molar pregnancy? and the sperm two sperm can penetrate the ovum? |
can you give me a website? about molar pregnancy? the rare event called molar pregnancy occurs when the placenta does not develop into its proper form but overgrows into a mass. This is technically called a hydatiform mole. Usually there is no fetus because the fetus has to implant itself in the uterine wall and there form a placenta - with the placental overgrowth there is no way for nourishment to reach it, and it disappears (at that point it is barely visible). Source(s): http://www.medhelp.org/glossary2/new/gls... http://www.babycenter.com/refcap/pregnan... only one sperm is allowed to penetrate the ovum. I run a web site about molar pregnancy. I hope it helps. http://www.mymolarpregnancy.com... |
